I'm always looking out for my adoring fans, so I decided to give you the 411 on concerts.
Wolf Eyes, Bobby Conn and Outrageous Cherry (15 november 2001, detroit contemporary, detroit)
The loud "concert" covered three very different types of music. Wolf Eyes was "noisy", Bobby Conn was very late "70's" and Outrageous Cherry just kinda sucked.
Crowd: Artsy people or freaks (No one under the age of 16).
Where: The Detroit Contempary on Rosa Parks
What rocked: The different types of people, and the art. (The bands were really nice too, and Wolf eyes gave me a free tee shirt)
What sucked: All the weed being smoked kinda made it seem like the music was only enjoyable to people who were under the influence.
The night 89X stole Christmas (15 december 2001, cobo hall, detroit)
Who: Blink 182, 311, Adema, Crystal Method, Jimmy Eat World
Crystal Meth, Jimmy Eat World and Adema were okay. 311 (my new fav) rocked the place and got us all reved up. Blink 182 was good but not as great as they normally are.
Crowd: Everyone
Where: Cobo
What Rocked: 311 blew the crowd away with their version of "Stomp"
What sucked: The high prices tee shirts when they had a crappy variety
