Color Me Now

Black, black awareness, black light, it’s a black night,

Black, the color of my discipline; the color of my skin right now;

Black, forgotten, ashamed, disgraced, pointless;

Black, a moment that did not last, a silent cry, the last good-bye;

Black, soft beginning, turbid ground, swift departure;

Black, stood ground, upside down frown, up side down and uncrowned;

Black as night, grey as day; warm then frigid still deadly awake.

There is something wrong

This might be my better half,

That half that stays awake at night,

Wonders and prays.

This might be my better half,

The half that’s always alright with suffering,

Kills and plays.

This might be my better half,

The half that torments others at all times,

Prances and dances.

This might be my better half,

The half that lies for no reason,

Laughs and begs.

This might be my better half,

The horror and disgrace, the race within is won with grace.

The blood runs, pours, drips, the dipstick reaches, let me begin.

November Breeze

November breeze come see me again.

Let this all leave and let it all once again begin.

November breeze you saw my eyes that night didn't you?

You saw that look upon my face when I saw her?

November breeze you did this for a reason.

It was to test all odds, to test all seasons.

November breeze think of me when you come again.

Bring back that love that never ended within.

All Seasons Change

The seasons change and all remains a mystery,
The breeze in the air, you're stare.

The time changes when Summer turns into Fall,
I sit waiting by the phone for just one call.

The sun rises each morning and the same routine begins,
I wonder if today I'll show a grin?

The time ticks away, I sit impatiently,
I wonder will this by my last memory.

The return home is not all that amusing,
It ends being one song after another getting it a little confusing.

The moment I arrive its all back to normal,
So I think "One more time, one more time, one more time please... I agree that my love came like spring and left like the falls brown leaves gliding from the trees, one more time, one more time please...

Table

A summer day waits for a summer night.

A strange hello awaits a strange good-bye.

A sarcastic mouth speaks a sarcastic word.

A searching heart finds a searching soul.

A serious man offers a serious lesson.

A synchronized watch tells a synchronized time.

A step forward leads to a step back.

A scheduled task begins with a scheduled greeting.

A simple life is lived with simple meaning.
