www.incorruptible.com
this site features the work of one of cranbrook’s finest, jeanette faour. She has slides of her fine art, samples of her design work and her artist’s statement.

jim o'rourke discography
a well-maintained site which has extensive information about one of the most interesting musician/composer/producers now working in chicago. lots of links to related record labels, articles and band sites. a worthy reference due to jim o’rourke’s ubiquity in the music world. note the lack of hyphenated labels…you’ll need to listen to some of his stuff and make up your own mind.

mayo thompson/the red crayola discography
there are several sites on the web claiming to be "official" the red crayola sites. this one is in no way official or authorized, but i do believe it is the most complete. there is an attempt to put together some kind of depiction of mayo thompson’s attempts to reconcile the disparate universes of "commercial" music and intellectually challenging "fine" arts.

anti-copyright and cassette culture
donal mcgraith article which contains an assault on the concept of "intellectual property rights". The endorsement of mid-eighties cassette culture has a resonance with what this author has been trying to do. it could do with a good proofreading as there are several typos which should be corrected, but the idea is there. a good read.

illus albus rosa reticulum
the homepage of the collective which is responsible for this very zine. we believe in it, so we recommend it. links to web sites, discographies and videographies of artists involved in the collective originally known as die weisse rose netzwerk, then den vit ros natverk 1997, la red de la rosa blanca 1998 and illus albus rosa reticulum 1999. the die weisse rose site contains a link to leaflets by the original white rose, a german resistance movement.
